here is an initial look at who some of the experts have the Texans taking should they stay at #11.
Drafttek (01/12):Cameron Jordan - DE (California)
NFL Draft Scout/Rang (01/10):Akeem Ayers - OLB (UCLA)
NFL Draft Scout/Reuter (01/10): - Prince Amakumara - CB (Nebraska)
FF Toolbox (01/03):Adrian Clayborn - DE (Iowa)
Draft Season (01/06): Robert Quinn - DE (North Carolina)
Consensus (01/10):Marcel Dareus - DT (Alabama)
Most of these were done before Wade Phillips officially took over as defensive coordinator. Defensive end is probably not a priority in the first round with Mario Williams and Antonio Smith already entrenched there. Defensive tackle might not be a possibility unless there were a trade down, which is almost impossible to project now. The Texans would probably like to pair any cornerback drafted here with a free-agent pickup. Once these mocks are updated, you could see players like OLB Von Miller fill the Texans spot.
